purpose of the program is to help parents find

quality child care. In addition, YWCA CCR&R
serves as a resource for child care providers,
employers and policy makers. We are committed
to promoting and supporting quality child care.

Outreach YWCA Child Care Resource
& Referral advances quality
child care by:
Conducting
workshops for the community.
Conducting
parenting workshops.
Informing
the community of local and state
child care issues.
Serving as
an advocate for families and children.
Training Training is offered
in all sixteen counties. This is to help provider
involvement. Training helps maintain quality
care.
Community
Education YWCA Child Care Resource & Referral looks for
every opportunity to educate the community about child care
and
issues
related to
families and children.
The agency sets up displays at community events offering information
on children’s behavior issues, newsletters and informational
brochures about our services.
